The Max Mara Spring/Summer 2017 show travels from the catwalks of Milan to Belfast City Hall in support of the charity Positive Futures. Positive Futures provides assistance to those with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries or autistic spectrum conditions, and to their carers.
Agnes Lunny OBE, Chief Executive of the charity said of the event,
"We are delighted to benefit from such a prestigious international show by one of the most exclusive names in fashion. The money raised will make a real difference to the people we support. We thank the Max Mara Belfast and Italy teams for their generosity and for allowing us to be part of what will be an exciting international event happening right here in Ireland.”
The fashion show will take place on the 10th March, with makeup by Charlotte Tilbury and hair by Richard Phillipart for Babyliss. The Max Mara designs are inspired by Lina Bo Bardi, an architect, designer and visionary for the cultural movement of Tropicalia in the 1960's. The looks combine high-tech, sports luxe with Bo Bardi's austere architecture and the rain forest inspired prints that are juxtaposed through her designs.
Tickets are £35 per person, or £75 for a VIP ticket and are available at positive-futures.net
