The attire calls for black tie with a hint of purple, and guests are sure to shine big, bold, and bright. This year is set to be bigger and better than ever. WOTYA promises to exude grace, glamour, elegance and poise along with welcoming a whole new dynamic which is sure to thrill and delight. The Irish Tatler Women of the Year Awards recognises women whose successes have garnered public praise and stirred the heart and mind of nations, not just in Ireland, but all over the world. Many of our WOTYA winners have worked tirelessly for years within their fields to improve the lives of others through science and philanthropy, have inspired and entertained with their creativity, and challenged us to change the way we think about standing up and being counted.

The 2016 roll of honour was comprised of women from all spheres of influence and WOTYA17 will be no different. Previous winners have included the likes of Cecelia Ahern, new faces such as Stefanie Preissner and Roisin O, joined by legends including Helen Cody and Breege O’Donoghue and inspiring success stories like Joan Freeman, Margot Slattery, Dearbhail McDonald and the fantastic Team Ireland Medallists, Paralympics 2016.
