You can take the funny people out of Ireland, but you can't take the Irish out of this bunch of comedians, who have joined forces in support of Together For Yes.
Some of Ireland's funniest comedians and best known international stars have come together to create a hilarious video asking people to vote for them in this Friday's referendum. Father Ted creator Graham Linehan, second generation Irish women Katherine Ryan and Roisin Conaty and Hollywood actor Chris O'Dowd all took to the cameras to make their impassioned pleas for the people of Ireland to get out and use their vote for YES on 25 May.
The clips anchors are Irish women Aisling Bea and Sharon Horgan, who open the scene dressed up as characters from hit TV show The Handmaid's Tale.
"It recently came to our attention that women are people too," is Bea's opening gambit, before she gets some help from more Irish comedians to do what we all thought was impossible: get a good laugh out of the divisive referendum debates.
