It's 2019 which means anyone can wear whatever they damn well like.
For years, grooms and groomsmen were the ones wearing the pants at weddings while the bride and her bridesmaids would wear long, flowing dresses. However, it's 2019 and modern brides are chucking the rule book out of the window, and many are choosing alternative outfits not only for themselves but for their bridesmaids too.
There's no denying the allure of a bridesmaid dresses - even those matching taffeta concoctions ála 27 dresses. Unlike celebrities who wear expensive floor-length gowns on a weekly basis, being a bridesmaid is one of the few occasion where you can we wear a luxurious gown. Which is likely why so many us opt for layers of tulle, chiffon and organza when choosing the gowns for their best friends. But what if dresses just aren't your thing? What if you, the bride, want to do something different? Well, we recommend striding down the aisle in a bridesmaid trouser suit.

SHARING some photos of my squad and some tips. Having a hard time finalising or deciding who will be in your squad list? GENERAL NOTE: You don’t have to impress but rather be true and stay practical. There shouldn’t be a problem or communication shouldn’t be that hard with your squad, right? I don't want to make it too long that's why I've just listed three tips, hope this helps para sa mga nahihirapan magfinalize ng squad nila. 1) Make sure yung pipiliin niyong squad (Maid of Honor, Secondary Sponsors and Bridesmaids) is close at kilala niyo talaga hindi yung wala lang kayong choice or dahil gusto ni ganito ni ganyan or dahil sabi ng mama or in-laws niyo. Again, kayo ang ikakasal you can take suggestions and advices from others but the decision should come from you and your husband. 2) Communication wise wala kayong magiging problema, kasi kung mga totoo niyo silang kaibigan hindi kayo dapat nahihiya magsabi if may favor or help needed kayo from them. Likewise, they will be comfortable telling you guys if may concern man sila. 3) You can really rely on them. Sobrang naramdaman ko ito! Wala akong masabi and I am really grateful to have my squad. I really felt their utmost help and presence during the wedding preparation and on the day of the wedding. P.S. Wala kaming ginastos sa suot ng squad ko. Yes! I asked them if they can provide their own attire, nagbigay lang ako ng peg na gusto ko. And tadaaaaa! They are all beautiful in their white suits and pants. Kanya kanyang hanap na ng design kasi mas okay ako kung saan sila komportable and para lumabas din yung kanya kanya nilang personality. And to my squad, muli MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT! I LOVE YOU and I really appreciate you ALL! For those who graduated na sa wedding preps, hope you're also happy and satisfied with your squad. ❤️And to all na in the process of looking and finalising their list, sana nakatulong ako sa inyo kahit papano. @thecolovestudios #sharingiscaring #mybridalsquad #weddinghigh #fabinwhite #mygirlfriends #friendsforkeeps #gratefulheart #beyondblessed
Effortlessly elegant and timeless, this alternative bridal style is arguably more interesting to style than conventional floor sweepers. Take shoes, for example. Knowing they’ll be on full display means you’ll need to award them special consideration. Pick the same style of suit for each of your bridesmaid but let them choose their shoes - from sensible flats to outrageous heels, you can guarantee on your friends' footwear to bring character to your wedding.
