The French fashion house confirmed the news with posts featuring the singer's likeness in silhouette form.
In the most undeniably obvious move, Givenchy has released that the new face of their brand is none other than Ariana Grande.
In a series of videos and photos released by Givenchy's official account and creative director Claire Waight Keller, the silhouette of Grande can be seen – given away by her dainty features and hip length ponytail for which she is famed.
The French fashion house has a long history of collaborating with the world's biggest celebrities. Founder Hubert de Givenchy was responsible for much of Audrey Hepburn's most famous looks, and recently Waight Keller created the Duchess of Sussex's wedding gown.
Neither Givenchy nor Ariana have elaborated, but the black and white footage is more than enough to suggest that Ariana will be fronting a campaign – alongside the hashtag #arivency, as social media would suggest – with an announcement said to follow shortly.
In the footage, Ariana's signature high ponytail commands viewers with little else to reveal whether Ariana's potential ambassadorial role will cover the fashion, beauty or perfume sector of the brand.
Waight Keller also shared the new teaser campaign posts, using the hashtag #winter19 revealing that Grande will first appear in the winter 2019 campaign.
Currently in the middle of her enormous Sweetener world tour, Ariana's love of beauty also made headlines last month when a trademark for "Thank U, Next" cosmetics line was submitted.
Previously, Ariana has worked with a number of brands including Lipsy, Guess, MAC and Reebok, while also releasing a line of perfumes under her own name.
