What: The SAFE Ireland Benefit Reception in Association with Sotheby's
Where: Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin
Dublin’s elegant Royal Hibernian Academy was the venue for a special evening in aid of Irish domestic abuse charity, SAFE Ireland. The benefit reception, in Association with Sotheby's, featured a private viewing of highlights from Sotheby’s September Irish art sale. Works on view during the evening included the Joseph & Brenda Calihan Collection, and Irish Art from the collection of Brian P. Burns.
Businesswoman Norah Casey was on hand to welcome guests and explain the importance of the work SAFE Ireland does. An auction on the evening was run by Lord Dalmeny the Chairman of Sotheby's, while proceeds from the event went directly to SAFE Ireland.
Guests were also reminded about the upcoming SAFE Ireland summit on 22 and 23 October which will focus on creating a safer world for women and children.
