The H&M HOME spring collection is just the calming, optimistic aesthetic we need in these strange times.
We’re all spending more time at home at the moment so it makes sense to try to create comforting spaces wherever you may live. If you’re low on space, a few clever bits and pieces can help create specific areas for work and relaxation. And you’re missing the outdoors, you can always bring the calming powers of greenery into your home.
Launching on 4 Feb, the spring collection from H&M HOME is full of natural, soothing tones and the occasional pop of indigo blue to add brightness. The whole range is aimed at getting creative with your living space and perhaps rethinking how you use areas of your home.
“A tough year has made us revaluate our homes and we want to inspire our customers to be creative and use their home and objects in more than one way,” explains Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, Head of Design & Creative at H&M HOME. ”Your home is the place where anything can happen - and by rethinking how a certain space is used, you can find ways to use rooms and items a little differently.”
Turn your bathroom into a chill out zone of dreams with soft towels and accessories in natural materials, or carve out a cosy work corner in your living space by using cushions and pops of colour. Keep a muted colour palette in the bedroom to encourage relaxation and make meals a moment to enjoy by embracing some low-effort, big-impact tablescaping with linen napkins, indigo-blue tablecloths and stoneware plates.
