The Wine Delivery Service Curated To Your Own Taste, Curiosity And Price Point

The list of things being delivered to our door is getting so long that we might never need to step outside again.

As celebrities back booze brands and takeaway pints become de rigueur, Ireland's impressive selection of sommelier-led projects have come to the rescue for those overwhelmed by the endless selection in stores.

This is happening by way of WineLab – Ireland’s only wine-on-tap specialist and a leading supplier of small-batch premium wines – and their new Bottle Project.

A fully curated home delivery service of top-quality bottled wines, Bottle Project is designed to complement WineLab’s sustainable wine-on-tap offering by focusing on special, small quantity and minimal intervention wines.

Customers select their price point and let WineLab know what wines they usually enjoy drinking. The team will then take care of the rest by handpicking and delivering a selection of six surprise bottles safely to your front door that they know you’ll love.

Working with producers from around the globe (Argentina, Austria, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, New Zealand, USA, South Africa and Spain.), the Bottle Project Shop offers limited editions and firm favourites made by some of WineLab’s most esteemed winemakers.

As for what's on offer:

Everyday Heroes - €55

Not all heroes wear capes and price is just a number. Expect complex, cheeky bottles like Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot to be enjoyed Monday - Sunday.

The Classics - €70

In a world full of trends, be classic. Favourites in this box might include Marlborough Sauvignon, Prosecco, Beaujolais or Rioja but WineLab will keep you on your toes with a few wildcards too

The Good Stuff - €90

Not just the good stuff, the REALLY good stuff. Think natural, low intervention high-end sisters to The Classics like Rioja, Malbec, Macon or Albarino.

Natural Mystics - €100

Six bottles of highly sustainable, delicious wines. This is organically farmed, spontaneously fermented, low SO2, hands-off winemaking at its finest from WineLabs wide range of incredible natural winemakers.

Amy Austin - €100

Don’t just collect wine, collect memories too. Amy Austin was barely open before it had to close in lockdown. This box is a selection of the very best wines on the list at Amy Austin and also includes a bottle to be redeemed at the eatery when they reopen on June 29th.

Choosing from all red, all white or a mix, each box contains the following selection:

  • Orange: Holzer, ‘Invaders’ Muller Thurgau

  • Fizz: Bibi Graetz, ‘Bollamatta’ Spumante Rose

  • Spritz: Ramona Ruby Grapefruit 4pk (4x250ml)

Top of the Rock - €150

Last but not least, the creme de la creme. Some of WineLabs best wines, from their best producers. You will drink very, very well!

What an excellent isolation birthday present – or an excuse to sample tipples of a Friday night.
