Irish Tatler’s Women of 2022 were honoured in a glamorous gala event that took place on Saturday 12 November in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
Ahead of the celebrations, Lancôme welcomed a selection of guests into the Glam Suite to get ready, where top make-up artists were on hand to create some iconic looks. Here’s what went on behind the scenes...
The Shelbourne’s George Moore Suite was transformed into a covetable beauty haven from first light, where make-up artists Leonard Daly and Eva Kyne worked from Lancôme’s luxury kit to create 14 different make-up looks. There was no shortage of the brand’s most desired products in the mix, as both make-up artists reached for staple products like the Intimatte lipsticks and the Hypnôse Mascara to create the impactful looks.
Amongst Daly’s hero products was the Hypnôse Eye Palette collection, which offers infinite choice across the 10 different palettes in the collection. With its creamy and ultra-blendable texture, Daly used the eye palettes for everything from soft, sultry looks to built-up smokey glam.
THE MAKE-UP LOOKS
Key to Daly and Kyne’s creations was targeted skin prep, with the gold standard being Lancôme's Absolue range. The Soft Cream and Rich Cream were in particular demand, with the former providing a creamy, lightweight texture that visibly brightens and firms the skin, while the Rich Cream works to promote skin surface cell renewal and is ideal for drier skin types. And, Lancôme’s new offering, the Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum, took pride of place for mature skin as its targeted ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C+ Niacinamide, and Ferulic Acid are designed to deliver anti-ageing benefits in one triple dose.
When it came to the make-up looks themselves, Daly and Kyne worked with each of the guests to create looks that complimented their natural features and set off their outfits for the night. Aoife Walsh opted for subtle glam that let her feather and sequin embellished dress be the focus. Pamela Laird kept things sophisticated with dewy skin and a glossy lip, while Pamela Uba went for the perfect shimmery eye with smoked-out liner.

For Ingrid Hoey’s look, Daly wanted to work with her skin’s warm, golden undertones, whilst complimenting her gorgeous green eyes.
