Charlotte Tilbury is the unrivalled Queen of Glow - crafting the most gorgeous, soft-focus gleam on every face she lays her manicured hands to, and with this in her kit, we're all the more intrigued about her highlight makeup mastery.

Guilded Skin

You could call us beauty acolytes at Irish Tatler discerning to say the least, but most makeup enthusiasts would recognise (and instantly want) any product isn't extortionate, but is chronically sold out. And one such example: the Queen of Glow's limited edition Bar of Gold highlighter.

The velvety powder highlighter flew off shelves mere moments after its initial release, due to its skin-guilding ability - illuminating the face in the way the golden hours of sunset might - warm, rich and lustrous

But good news for for those who missed the gold-standard highlight the first time around, Queen Charlotte is bringing back the best-selling illuminator and has even gone a step further by designing a three-pan palette that includes not only the OG bar of gold, but a soft, pink-tinted rose and a deeper shimmery bronze along with it.

Summer Skin Essential

Launching exclusively on next Monday, July 9, the new Bar of Gold Trio will contain the original gold shade that offers "an instantly glamorizing touch of light," alongside a new Rose Gold hue that imparts a rosy blush, and Gold Bullion, which has a bronzing effect.

All three pressed-powders are densely packed in the pan, making the finish  creamy and a dream to blend. The beauty brand recommends using "any or all of the three shades across different parts of the face to create a radiant, glossy complexion on the cheekbones, temples, nose, cupid’s bow and décolletage." They can even be used as eye shadow or on top of lipstick, as a metallic overlay.

Amy, our Staff Ed and resident beauty-devotee will be setting an early alarm next Monday, to make sure she'll get to add the in-demand Bar of Gold Trio to her already-laden 'summer-skin' armoury. But when the Queen of Glow herself describes the sleek palette, "a lustrous library of light for the face and body", who else feels like they'll be resigned to a summer of shade without it in their possession? #NEED.
