Big claim, I know, but this one product is the gateway to the glowy skin of your dreams, and after months of being sold out, it's finally available to buy again...
I have no room for matte-ness in my beauty life, I am, and will always be, a glow-getter. Radiant, shiny, sweaty, pregnant – you name the illumination adjective and I'll want to be it (the having a baby element, slightly less so currently).
For the majority of the past year, Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter, €40 has been the main tool in my glow-getting arsenal, as the lightweight base gives skin a credible radiance that you just can't get with other products. There are no obvious glitter particles—just a visible glow. You can wear it underneath or completely in place of makeup and it leaves your skin with a sheen of dewiness and not being a huge fan of heavy coverage, using it as a foundation is my MO.
Convinced it was the best product in existence, I sang its praises to anyone who'd listen and told everyone I knew to stock up. Unsurprisingly, I wasn't the only person in the industry to fall head over heels for it and consequently, the foundation/highlighter hybrid has been sold out for months. (Not that it matters what you actually class it as —call it whatever you'd like, the concept is the same: it catches the light and reflects it as though you're a majestic wood nymph.)
But, good news, Ms. Tilbury's 'Glow in A Bottle' complexion booster has finally been fully restocked on her site, in all shades from 1. Light to 7. Dark. Personally, I've been wearing shade 4. Medium every day, both through my more tanned months and winter, and believe me when I say the creamy illuminator makes even the dullest, pale skin look vibrant and glowy.
Case. In. Point.
I mean, I'm no CT model, but glow-game strong.
As the saying goes, all good things do come to an end, so shop now to avoid disappointment. I promise it's worth this lengthy beauty ode.
Here's a quick tutorial on how to use it too.
