Everything You Need To Know About Rihanna's New Skincare Line: Fenty Skin

It's finally happening!!!

Today, the star announced that she will indeed be launching Fenty skincare — and sooner than we all expected.

Arguably one of the most anticipated beauty launches ever, Fenty Beauty quickly gained cult status thanks to its all-inclusive colour range. Three years and multiple product drops later the brand now sits comfortably at the top of the makeup hemisphere. 

With an estimated net worth of $260 million, you think Rihanna would follow her music pace by slowing things down a little, but now it seems Fenty Beauty is venturing into skincare.

It's been well over a year since Rihanna first had the internet in a frenzy after teasing that she had a skin-care line on the way (more on that below) — and today, the multi-hyphenate mogul took to Instagram to officially announce her upcoming beauty foray. "It’s FINALLY comin’ y’all," reads the caption on the Fenty Beauty Instagram feed.

Rihanna herself gave followers a sneak peek at Fenty Skin with a cryptic video of her using three different products. Based on what we can see in the post, it looks like the collection will be launching with a cream-to-foam cleanser, an essence, and a moisturiser, all packaged in pastel hues of light purple and peach. The official launch date is July 31, exclusively on, but Rihanna shared on her page that a lucky few will get the chance to shop the collection early by signing up with their email. To sign up to the waitlist click HERE.

Rumours of the sought after skincare line first started around March 2019 when eagle-eyed fans spotted that Rihanna had filed a trademark under ‘Fenty Skin’ on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s website

The trademark stated that "Fenty Skin" will cover "medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and other personal care products (excluding colour cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products) and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators." 

However, in May 2020 Rihanna used limited words in an issue of British Vogue to confirm that a skin-care line is on the way — and it will set a new standard in the category. "Skincare, it's the truth. It either works, or it doesn't. There's nowhere to hide," Rihanna told the publication.

Currently, little information exists on the site other than a tagline (“The New Culture of Skincare”) and an email sign-up for early access. There are no clues about what type of products will launch apart from the five product names mentioned in the trademark:

  • Buff Ryder
  • Instant Reset
  • Fat Water
  • Flash Nap
  • Hydra Vizor

We don't know exactly what these will be but we're already prepared for Rihanna to take our money.
