The shortcut to #GlossierSkin we've all been waiting for!
You know that dewy sheen you get after you put on all your serums and moisturizers? Or the plumpness of your skin when you've drank your water and slept your 8+ hours?
Well, Emily Weiss and her team of millneial-pink lab coat-wearing boffins have somehow managed to bottle the glowy effect of a just-finished skin-care routine and deliver it in a single product... and make it last.
Futuredew, which launches today, is designed to be the final step in your skincare routine for that gleamy, refreshed look that Glossier has pretty much trademarked.
Futuredew is an oil-serum hybrid packed with nourishing oils (that don’t feel greasy) and brightening plant-based extracts to deliver an instant boost in hydration and lasting glow overtime.
In the brand's clinical trials, after four weeks, overall skin radiance was increased by 100 per cent of all of those who used Futuredew – and that was before they even applied it.
Texture-wise, you can expect something thicker and more sticky (at first) than your typical serum, but as it is massaged into the skin, it melts into a light, balm-like oil, imparting a rosy rather than pearlescent sheen to the complexion.
Its INCI list boasts plenty of moisturising ingredients including glycerin, squalane, rosehip oil and hyaluronic acid, but few of the other skincare 'actives' one might associate with a serum.
How to use it?
Glossier recommends using the lightweight formula as the final step in your skincare routine for a gleamy, well-moisturized look that lasts up to 12 hours straight. It can be worn under makeup or without makeup, or as a highlighter with added benefits – we think we'll be favouring the last two methods for glowier, more hydrated and cared-for-looking skin.
As with all Glossier goodness, Futuredew is also hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, cruelty-free, vegan, non-comedogenic, good for all skin types and comes with a highly aesthetically pleasing campaign, full of glowy faces.
