If you love to glow, this is the time of year you really shine. If not, you’re still in the right place. Join us as we go behind the scenes of our December issue beauty shoot.
It seems that no matter the season, there's always a party to be had.
Whether it's a winter wedding or the Christmas office party, there are plenty of opportunities for you to flex your makeup muscles. So why not play with your beauty look and embrace party makeup with gusto? Such was the thinking behind our December issue beauty shoot created by makeup artist Ailbhe Lynch with a little help from the Arnotts Beauty Hall!
For the Irish Tatler December issue beauty shoot, Ailbhe used brands such as M.A.C, Bobbi Brown, Lime Crime, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced and Urban Decay from the Arnotts Beauty Hall to create 6 party looks that are sure to suit everyone.
Think festive textures: glitters, molten metals, and high shine; bold colours and look-at-me shapes. Whether you fancy a striking metallic liner look, a daring lip or something more sultry and low-key, we have all the party makeup inspiration and product recommendations jam-packed into our December issue.
The party makeup rule of thumb? If you're wearing something glitzy, opt for a graphic eye or colour palette that's more subtle. Digging out your LBD or going casual-cool? Then up the ante with your makeup by rocking a glitter lid using the Lime Crime Diamond Dew glitter eyeshadow, let your skin do the sparkle thanks to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol.2, go for a classic bold lip using the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick or throw the rule book out the window altogether and embrace a statement eye and lip look at the same time (you rebel!).
