Instagram beauty account turned beauty brand.

Live Tinted, an Instagram beauty community which showcases people of all skin tones, often those underrepresented in the media is now a beauty brand.

Last week, the page began to tease promo for their first product, making it clear that the beauty brand would still very much embody the message expressed on the account. 

Making it clear that any brand that isn't inclusive of all skin tones has no excuse, Live Tinted has launched 'The Huestick'.

A multi-use makeup product that can be used on eyes, lips and cheeks. Though only available in three shades, each one can work on a variety of skin tones. The red, orange and pink shades are easily blendable for colour-correcting dark spots and hyperpigmentation. 

The Huestick is also buildable for use as lip, eye and cheek colour which offers a demi-matte finish.

Think Swiss Army knife, but beauty. 

If that weren't enough, Huesticks also function as skin-care products. They're formulated with hyaluronic acid, squalane, and vitamins C and E which we bet you can't find in any other beauty product in your makeup bag. 

As for the limited shade range, Live Tinted's founder, Deepica Mutyala, explained on Instagram why extensive collections are not necessarily the answer.

"The beauty industry has been trying to answer diversity by offering foundations in 50+ shades, While that's moving in the right direction, we still need campaigns, communities, products, and people in power who understand the every day of diversity."

Ringing in at an affordable $24 each (that's slightly under €22), Huesticks are available now at the new Live Tinted's website
