Lululemon Is Launching A Self-Care Beauty Line

Canadian sportswear label Lululemon, best known for its yoga pants, is venturing into the cosmetics industry.

In a blog post on its website, the Vancouver-based brand – who more recently launched in Brown Thomas – announced the launch of Selfcare, an edited capsule collection of products for those who aren't afraid to work up a sweat.

"Sweat once a day to regenerate your skin and mind. It’s something we’ve believed in for over 20 years and continues to be one of our guiding principles as we empower others to do the same," said the brand in the blog post.

"Over the years, we’ve heard from athletes, ambassadors, and our community that the transition from sweat into daily life requires some specific solutions."

To that end, the new line offers No Show Dry Shampoowhich uses tapioca starch to mop up oil without leaving residue, “Anti-Stink” Deodorant, which the company claims battles odour while still allowing the body to naturally sweat, Basic Lip Balm with organic beeswax, jojoba and coconut oil, and Sweat Reset Face Moisturizer with a sweat-wicking polymer and a menthol-like ingredient to cool.

Prices were not yet disclosed by the company, but expect to hear more about them in "late spring" when they launch, cruelty-free Leaping Bunny logo et al.
