Powerhouse women ahead of the time!

Oh boy, this is going to be a goodie!

In news that might make your week, today we get a first look at Bombshell - a movie about the infamous sexual misconduct scandal and at Fox News and the women who take on former-CEO Roger Ailes.

Scripted by The Big Short screenwriter and starring three of the biggest names in the business, the plot follows the real-life stories of the women at the network who came forward with their #MeToo stories as multiple lawsuits were filed against Ailes.

Charlize Theron plays journalist and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman plays Gretchen Carlson (who sued Ailes in 2016), and Margot Robbie plays Kayla Pospisil, a fictional character created for the film.

Joining the three Oscar-adorned actors are John Lithgow as Roger Ailes; Connie Britton as Beth Ailes; Allison Janney as Ailes’s legal counsel; Kate McKinnon as a Fox News employee; and Nazanin Boniadi as former Fox News correspondent.

Roger Ailes resigned as the CEO and chairman of Fox News in July 2016 after being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women at the network.

Ailes died in 2017, at age 77, about nine months after his resignation from the American broadcaster and although he always denied the sexual harassment allegations, he settled out-of-court with Gretchen Carlson for a sum close to €20 million.
