September has arrived and uniformed dressing is in the air.
No more so than for Irish A-lister Caitriona Balfe who donned not one but two chic school-friendly looks this week at Toronto International Film Festival.
The Outlander star stopped by the AT&T on Location as she and follow co-stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale promoted their new film, Ford v Ferrari.
Put together by Hollywood stylist to the stars, Karla Welch, the four-time Golden Globe nominee wore a white shirt, navy suit jacket and pleated ankle-length skirt by The Row.
On face duties – Balfe always opts for glowing skin, a slick of black liner and a rosy lip – was Mary Wiles, responsible for painting the faces of Priyanka Chopra, Andie McDowell and Naomi Watts.
Her hair was given its signature shiny tousle by Marcus Francis.
The night before that, Balfe hit the black carpet at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and The Hollywood Reporter Party on Saturday night wearing head to toe Chanel.
The former model looked every inch the A-listed in a fitted navy suit and slingback mules.
It's been a big week for Balfe, who is currently on a press tour for the highly-anticipated Ford v Ferrari.
The film is set in 1966 when Ford Cars is under the stewardship of Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts), whose company is looking to make itself seem relevant again.
There’s a whole new generation of post-war, middle-class adults to cater to, but the company has fallen behind. Enter young exec Lee Iacocca (Jon Bernthal) with a funny idea: Ford should go exotic.
Ford should go to France to race Le Mans, which challenges drivers to compete for 24 straight hours. Balfe plays Mollie Miles the wife of Ken (Christian Bale), a hot-headed British-born racer and engineer with a genius for speed.
The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on August 30 and will also screen at TIFF on September 9, 2019. It is scheduled to be released in Ireland on November 15, 2019, in 2D, IMAX 2D and Dolby Cinema by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
