Chrissy Teigen is getting refreshingly real about body image, and we are here.for.it.
Chrissy Teigen is about as shy as a brick through a glass window.
Yet, the Internet loves her for it. The popular mother-of-two has been documenting more than just the scenery during her trip to Bali with her husband, musician John Legend.
The model and cookbook author has been using her platform to highlight the pressure on new mothers to “bounce back” to pre-baby weight in breakneck speed. Just like fellow model Candice Swanepoel, whose recent post about invasive media coverage of her postpartum physique went viral, Teigen is making it known that she is doing things on her own terms this time.
The 32-year-old star is allowing fans get up close and personal with her newly acquired figure. In a recent post the hilarious TV personality showed a glimpse of her stretch marks, saying “I guess these just aren’t going to go away. This is my new body.”

Social media can get to us at the best of times, and it’s no different for a former Sports Illustrated model. Teigen also took to Twitter to share a poignant note about body acceptance.
“Instagram is crazy. I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!) but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing,” she said.
She continued, “Also I don’t really call this “body confidence” because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”
Despite delivering these powerful messages to her impressionable following, Teigen still kept things lighthearted by sharing an image of her "nursing" her daughter Luna's doll.
"I guess I have twins now," she joked.
Hands up who wants to go on vacay with Chrissy T?!
