Chupi Sweetman’s eponymous jewellery brand has been one of Irish design’s biggest success stories.
In just five years it has become a much-loved name, with devoted fans and an instantly-recognisable aesthetic. Each piece is designed, manufactured and finished in Ireland and the brand has picked up a number of awards recently.

So funny coincidence but I was a guest on a podcast talking about Instagram and social media; how they can be such a force for good in the world if used properly ❤️ When I started my first brand as a tiny wee 21 year old there was no Facebook, no instagram and no way to find your tribe 🤷🏻♀️ . Yesterday when I shared our huge @macys news you guys were incredible, the love & joy, how well you understand how hard we worked to get here overwhelmed me 🙈 . Everyone else complains about social media and I know that whilst there is a negative aspect there is also community filled with love right here and I’m so very grateful to be part of it 💗
This week Chupi opened a pop up shop in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida branch of iconic US department store, Macy’s. The specially curated collection includes pieces from the brand’s signature Your North Star collection and the Hawthorn Twig collection.
Creator and founder Chupi, who received this year’s Irish Tatler Women of the Year Fashion award spoke of her excitement at the move and said, “Pop up events are something which we, as a business, have always found great success in and truly look forward to this one especially in the run up to Christmas.”
The pop up is running from now until 2 February 2019 at Macy’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
