Long gone are the days when Comic Con was a just small convention for comic book fanatics, now the four-day event is a glamorous celebrity filled weekend where everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the leading ladies looks.
When you think of Comic Con you may think of die-hard comic book fans, hundreds of people dressed up as superheroes and newly released movie trailers. Fashion wouldn’t be the first thing to pop into your head, would it? But the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive. This year top celebrities arrived at the San Diego Comic Con adorned in high-end fashion and stole the show.
Not only did the cast of Riverdale have all eyes on them after the trailer for the new season was dropped, they also attracted attention with their ‘killer’ outfits. Wearing Monique Lhuillier, Etro, and Ralph Lauren, the three leading ladies turned the convention into a fashion show.
American Horror Story star and ultimate badass Sarah Paulson rocked the event in a bright Calvin Klein outfit. From her red nylon skirt to her misty rose leather shirt to her yellow and white heels, she was a vision.
Amber Heard, leading lady in new DC film Aquaman, turned heads during her panels at Comic Con in a scarlet red dress. The elegant dress by Elie Saab was paired with red animal print heels to create the perfect red-hot ensemble.
Another Aquaman star that wowed at the event was the ever graceful Nicole Kidman. In a white high-neck tulle embroidered Dior maxi dress by Maria Grazia Chiuri and an oversized black belt, the actress who plays Queen Atlanna in the new superhero movie was Queen of Comic Con.
Kristen Bell rocked up to the panel discussion of The Good Place in a blood red two-piece suit. The blonde bombshell looked stunning in the Anine Bing suit while she discussed the plot for the upcoming series. In her Naaem Khan blouse and Giuseppe Zanotti heels, she was the Bell of the ball.
An article about glamour and superheroes cannot be complete without featuring gorgeous goddess and ultimate superhero badass Gal Gadot. The newest Wonder Woman turned heads during Comic Con in San Diego last weekend in a short black and purple, David Koma feather and fringe mini dress. Paired with a simple pair of black heels the tall beauty stole the show.
