Award Season is in full swing in Hollywood with four of the biggest award shows taken place in the past few weeks. However, the Golden Globes, The Critics Choice Awards, The SAG Awards and The Grammys were just the tips of the award-season-shaped iceberg. It's week four, and the stars are already flocking to the first biggest award show in the UK on the 2020 calendar: the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (that's BAFTA to me and you).

Last year’s BAFTA's red carpet checked off all of our boxes: Kate Middleton stunned in a white one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown; Lucy Boynton once again slayed the red carpet game in Dior whilst Timothée Chalamet left us for dead in a Haider Ackermann suit with matching shirtBut since this year’s celebration is even bigger than the last (it is 2020 after all), we expected nominees to take their sartorial games to the next level on last night's red carpet – and they did not disappoint.
