Our favourite London IT gal, and Irish Tatler cover star Millie Mackintosh wed her fiancé Hugo Taylor earlier this month and we are finally getting a first glance at the dress.
Taking to Instagram to post the first pic of the dress, Millie reveals her stunning Kate Halfpenny wedding gown. In the caption she writes, "I'm feeling incredibly lucky to have married my best friend in front of our nearest and dearest" and the two did it in style too.
Kate Halfpenny the designer also took to Instagram this morning to give us a break down of the dress. She writes; "Millie wore a bespoke Halfpenny London gown last weekend that we worked on and designed together. It was made with stunning French lace, fine spotty tulle and silk organza. The flowers on the draped body and the double bubble sleeves were hand appliqued. We complemented the look with a simple long plain tulle veil." Mackintosh then teased a photo of the back of the dress which was equally as elegant and romantic.

It was such a dream to have a completely unique bespoke dress made. The whole journey working with Kate was so much fun. I never wanted to take the dress off after fittings! The details and the style just evolved creatively. I’m so in love with the double bubble sleeves. They’re light puffs of silk organza with a fine spotty tulle over the top and little tiny lace flowers hand appliquéd on. Thanking you darling @halfpennylondon and your fabulous team for making my vision come to life! Full feature out now in @hellomaguk 👰🏼
The couple looked glamorous with Hugo straying away from the more traditional wedding attire of a morning suit and opting for a white tuxedo jacket and black bow-tie – very Matthew McConaughey when he won his Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club.
