If Summer 2019 was to be remembered for anything, it was *that* Zara polka dot dress.
Without any visual aids or description, you already know the dress I'm speaking of.
It’s a printed lightweight number, with elbow-length sleeves and a keyhole button fastening. Black and white spots. Everyone in the Western hemisphere owns it and it basically broke the internet. We don’t mean that lightly, 'The Dress' (as it is now known) was so popular last year it had its very own Instagram account which documents the dress' whereabouts and has over 25,000 followers.
And while 'The Dress' has proven to be the ultimate lockdown accessory, it appears that there's a new high street midi dress coming for its title.
This is the one in question. It doesn’t have its own Instagram account (yet), but I’ve spotted it countless times on Instagram, saw two women sporting it in the queue for Tesco and there was a limited few hanging on the rail when I walked past H&M earlier today (not brave enough to go into actual stores just yet).
It's vibrant, oversized, has puffed sleeves made from lightweight, organic cotton and is a sartorial juxtaposition. It is both girlish and Scandi, maximalist yet minimalist, simultaneously subtle but statement-making. Oh, and it's €22.99.
Equally as flattering as *that* Zara dress, this pink number is perfect for keeping cool on hot summer days thanks to the organic cotton and flowing silhouette. Style it with everything from rope sandals to trainers for a casual daytime look or swap out your flats for a strappy heeled sandal to elevate the dress for nights out (soon!).
There's just one problem...it's sold out online. But don't cry just yet - we've got it on pretty good authority that this midi dress will be re-stocked very soon!

However, if you can't wait any longer - H&M has also released a mini version of the dress which is currently selling out faster than a One Direction reunion tour...so you've got to act fast if you want to get your hands on the mini version.
