This year's entries for our Best Dressed Bride revealed a host of beautiful, stylish Irish brides. After selecting their winner, the judges went on to choose a trio of worthy runners up.

Each one had a unique style - and here, they share their inspiration for the big day.

Loren Steacy

"Her elegant dress suits the style of the venue and figure perfectly. Her bridesmaids’ dresses fit perfectly too." Lucinda Andrews, Marketing Manager, Weir & Sons

Photographer: Paul Quinn at Signature photography

Dress: Tara Keely by Lazaro/Alice May Bridal

My bridal style inspiration was Hollywood glamour. I love the elegance of Grace Kelly and simplicity of Audrey Hepburn so they were my muses.

Style Advice for Brides to Be:

Be true to yourself and don’t allow anyone to choose who you want to be on your special day. Try different styles of dresses on. You might have an idea of the dress you really liked on Pinterest and find when you try it on it may not be hugging you in the right way.

Megan Bus

“I love Megan's dress! It's real old school Hollywood glamour.” Chupi Sweetman, jewellery designer

Where: Dublin City Hall and Drury Buildings, Dublin

Photographer: This Modern Love

Dress: Halfpenny London

"I knew I wanted something modern, city wedding chic and timeless."

Style Advice for Brides to Be:

"Be you, not everyone else. Keep your style true to you because then you wear it with confidence. Keep it timeless - certain trends date very quickly. You don't want to look back at your pictures and think, “What the heck was I thinking?"!"

Hana Potisk

"A sleek affair, kudos to Hanna for defying the tradition of the little white dress but remaining wholly elegant."Sarah Macken, Managing Editor/Fashion Editor, Irish Tatler

Name: Hana Potisk

Where: Villa Polesini, Croatia

Photographer: Saša Tomić

Dress: 16 Arlington

"Modern independent women, minimalism and architecture."

Style Advice for Brides to Be:

"Go with your gut and don't try to be like everyone else. Wear what feels right for you and ignore what others may think. If you feel amazing then you will look amazing."
