At M&S, this season's festive offering is plenty spirited, but the challenge is striking the perfect balance between comfort and glamour that feels right at home.
Without question, Christmas will look a little different this year. Our diaries aren't exactly bulging with dinners, ‘squeeze it in beforehand’ lunches, work events and festive drinks, but that being said, throwing all spirited dressing ambitions out the window would be downright disheartening.
At home, via Zoom, socially-distanced or otherwise, we're determined to give our sumptuous velvet, glittering sequins, and shimmering metallic fabrics their much-deserved seasonal recognition this Christmas. If anything, dressing up is extra crucial for maintaining a cheery disposition as we see out a year like 2020.
However, we can't say that there won't be days when doing little but wrapping ourselves in cashmere and getting cosy on the couch are on the agenda. And as if we haven't done enough of it this year, we're sure that there will be a few strolls over the festive season to blow off the cobwebs too!
So, from full-on glitz to cheerfully comfy, we've partnered with M&S to create a shoppable edit that ensures you'll have all your sartorial needs covered this Christmas.

So, for a quick injection of fun and glamour, we'll be popping on these platform heels for the family FaceTime gift exchange (even if no one else can see them!).

Stephen's Day Strolls
While little of 2020 has been typical, for us, Stephen's Day is spent doing very little. A walk is about the most extreme thing we get up to and we can't foresee this year being any different. Practical, chic and so warm, duvet coats have been so popular recently and we like that this quilted one isn't too chunky. Paired with chunky-soled boots and toasty knits, we could see ourselves wearing this outfit well into the New Year.

Super Luxe Lounging
Given our lead-up to Christmas this year will have been spent predominantly in the comfort of our own homes, rather than bar hopping, it's unsurprising that for many of us pyjamas have become something of a second skin. Treat yourself to an upgrade on the trusty old flannel PJs that you've worn throughout lockdown and opt for a beautiful silky set or cashmere separates that are worth spending a little more on.
