Meghan And Harry Share An Unseen Wedding Photo To Mark The Anniversary Of Their Engagement

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously do things their own way when it comes to navigating royal life, and they seem to be forging one new tradition in particular: sharing glimpses into the family photo album on Instagram to mark special occasions.

And they seem to have garnered a taste for it of late.

Earlier this month, the couple posted a never-before-seen snap from their son Archie’s private christening ceremony – their way of wishing his grandfather Prince Charles a happy birthday.

Now, Harry and Meghan have dipped into their wedding album to mark two years since their engagement was announced to the world.

Taking to the couple's joint Instagram, the image sees a laughing Meghan holding her understated Philippa Craddock wedding bouquet in one hand and her new husband in the other.

It was posted as part of a carousel of images on the official @SussexRoyal account.

"On this day, two years ago: 27th of November 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news of their engagement, later becoming Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!" the post read.

"They have since celebrated their wedding anniversary and welcomed their son, Archie, into the world."

The previously unseen photo, taken by trusted family photographer Chris Allerton, captures the relaxed newlyweds beaming with happiness.

Two years on, the couple celebrate a wholly new routine, having left Kensington Palace to set up home in Frogmore Cottage, in the grounds of their wedding reception venue Frogmore House, and welcomed their baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on 6 May this year.
