Meghan Markle Just Gave Us A Sneak Peek Into Her Clothing Line

Think classic yet iconic wardrobe staples.

The Duchess Of Sussex has been quietly working on the project for months now

Meghan Markle has one of the most sought-after wardrobes. From Veja trainersinitial necklaces and wedged espadrilles - many of the pieces she wears reach sell-out status after just one wear.

So it only makes sense that Meghan create a clothing line of her own, and we’ve just been given our first glimpse.

If you haven't heard about Markle's clothing line yet, the Sussex Royal account explained it as:

An initiative supporting the Smart Works collective which will equip women entering the workforce with the key workwear essentials they need.

The news of the capsule collection was first announced back in July, but this is the first time we're getting to actually see some of the clothing. Markle explained in British Vogue,

For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity. Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.

In a series of Instagram Stories on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s account, we can see  Meghan greeting some of the campaign models and adjusting what looks like a belt wrapped around a black dress. There is also a model wearing a black blazer and another wearing a crisp, white button-down shirt.

It's hard to tell from the short videos exactly what else we can expect from her collection, but we do know that the clothing line has been created in collaboration with Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw and US designer Misha Nonoo.

We’ll have to wait for autumn to see exactly what’s involved, but if Meghan’s own outfits are anything to go by, we know we’re in for classic and iconic clothes.
