Meghan Markle Just Made Double-Denim Actually Look Chic

A smart spin!

Justin and Britney, take notes.

Double denim isn't as debatable as cycling shorts and perms, but it can still divide a room.

However, we're here to tell you that all our previous prejudices concerning the Canadian tuxedo have been put aside, for we have proof that double denim can indeed be totally stylish. And the person we have to thank for changing our minds? Meghan Markle. Well, who else would it be?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 10-day trip to South Africa is in full swing with the royal couple, as well as four-month-old Archie Harrison, touching down in Cape Town on Monday. The trip marks the Duchess of Sussex's second royal tour since her marriage to Prince Harry and her return from maternity leave, which means, of course, we'll be seeing more of the 38-year-old's stylish wardrobe choices...like her take on the Canadian tuxedo.

The Duchess of Sussex made a case for double denim on the second day of the royal tour of South Africa. Keeping things casual as she and Harry visited Waves For Change at Monwabisi Beach, Meghan wore black skinny jeans which she teamed with a blue denim jacket, a white shirt from her collection for Smart Works and brown flats. The denim jacket in question was from Madewell and happily is available to buy right now.
