Here's Where You Can Buy The Personalised Necklace Meghan Markle Wore To Wimbledon

A is for...

It's affordable too.

After much anticipation as to whether Meghan Markle was going to attend Wimbledon this year, the Duchess surprised us all yesterday by making a court-side appearance. According to Harper's Bazaar, Markle is attending the tournament to support her longtime friend Serena Williams. The pair have often shown support for one another with the Duchess wearing the tennis superstar's clothing line and Williams, in turn, praising Markle's work with the Hub Community Kitchen.

While her presence alone would be enough to take some of the fanfare away from the players, it was in fact, her ensemble that got everyone talking.

Markle (who is still technically on maternity leave since giving birth to baby Archie in May) kept her outfit understated, reaching for a trusty pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a black shirt styled under a white striped blazer a pair of black stiletto heels, oversized sunglasses and, a white fedora. While the ensemble was effortless and so chic, one of her accessories was actually the best part. The necklace that Markle paired with the outfit was a short gold chain with a tiny letter "A" that stopped just at her collarbone. While not confirmed, the necklace certainly seems to be a tribute to her son, Archie.

The necklace is reportedly by one of Markle's favourite designers, Jennifer Meyer and costs €310 - a price tag that won't break the bank!

While this is the first time that the public has seen Markle wearing the "A" necklace, it's not the first time that the Duchess of Sussex has worn an accessory that celebrates motherhood. In February, Markle visited New York City where Serena Williams planned a baby shower for the expectant mother. Not many details are known about the shower, but when leaving the city, Markle was sporting a brand new "mummy" necklace from designer Jennifer Meyer that is believed to have been a gift from an attendee.

With the addition of her new "A" necklace, the Duchess of Sussex has her entire family covered in the jewellery department. Back in 2016 when she and Prince Harry were dating, she donned a similar necklace to the one she wore yesterday but that time with Prince Harry's initials.

Looks like it's round two for the bespoke initial jewellery trend...
