If you're an avid reader of IrishTatler.com, you'll know how we feel about H&M's gym gear. High-quality, really affordable and super-flattering, it makes us look and feel great before we've even stepped on the treadmill!

While we never fail to be impressed by the Swedish high-street giant's sportswear offering, that doesn't mean we don't also lust after premium brands' fit and fabric too. When we do justify splashing out a hefty chunk of our wages on activewear, Australian label P.E Nation is always our first choice for its classic, retro feel.

Thankfully, the team at P.E Nation have heard our wallets' collective cries and have teamed up with H&M for an athleisure collection that’s chic as it is cheap.

And it's officially launched today!

From figure-flattering leggings and bicycle shorts to sports socks and bum bags, we've been informed that the range includes clothing, swimwear, undergarments and accessories all for a fraction of the OG brand’s price, and will an added a focus on "more sustainable fabrics".

P. E Nation's co-founders Clarie Tregoning and Pip Edwards say the collaboration features a "hybrid" of their signature style and H&M's best-selling pieces, using the retailers current seasonal colour palette.

“With the H&M collaboration, we want women all over the world to live a more confident, vibrant, fashionable life whilst juggling her fast-paced urban existence,” Edwards and Tregoning explained.

“The collection can be worn all day, every day, whilst being flexible, functional and style-led. All the pieces work so well together – it’s very easy to mix and match.”

Featuring iconic P.E Nation silhouettes, the collection mixes performance-wear with inspirations from street style fashion, such as large logos, tie-dye and colour blocking.
