Turns out, all your 'Old Céline' dreams can come true in time for Christmas.

By the time Hedi Slimane sent his debut Celine offering down the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week, the brand's hit brass alphabet pendants had all but vanished from circulation.

Serving as a reminder of Phoebe Philo's tenure at the label, the signature necklaces are seen as relics of a now-bygone aesthetic. While the chunky letters seem to hang from the necks of the chicest people you follow online, it's next to impossible to buy one since Slimane took the reins.

Enter: the high street solution to the €380 trophy. River Island have unveiled what's sure to be their best performing jewelry offering of the year - the gold-tone large initial necklace.

After unveiling the accessory on their feed, the high street hero was inundated with requests for more deets.

At present, the letters A, C, E, K, L, M, and S are available online for €17 - and our source at River Island HQ said that the remaining letters are to follow 'soon'.

Keep your eyes peeled folks ~ these are sure to sell out faster than Slimane removing the brand's accented é. </3
