It seems like she - aka everyone on your Instagram feed - is selling sea shells by the sea shore.
Shell jewellery, something once only associated with scuba diving teachers and students on their gap year, is enjoying somewhat of a resurgence.
Last year you couldn't browse social media without happening across layers upon layers of gold medallions and medals on the necks of It Girls, and it seems the same can now be said for the humble sea shell. Don't believe us? Aimee Song, Lucy Williams, Daniella Snyder (of Dannijo), and Rocky Barnes are just some of the blogerrati who have already been seen sporting this trend.
Miuccia Prada and Donatella Versace are two designers who heralded the arrival of this mico-trend, both having sent nautical-themed baubles down the catwalk last season. Loewe, Dolce & Gabbana, Isabel Marant, and Rosie Assoulin all followed suit, firmly cementing the seaside treasure as a must-have for those of us on land.
Forget trinkets from the hotel souvenir shop, we have our eyes firmly fixed on gold-plated pukka shells, mother of pearl adornments, and dainty stackable pieces.
