The collection marks Meghan’s official return to royal duties, five months after she gave birth to baby Archie.
Meghan Markle is any retailer's dream, as what she wears sells (and sells fast), whether that's a pair of Veja trainers or a white Misha Nonoo shirt. So, it was only a matter of time before she turned this stock-shifting power into her own independent business venture, and today the Meghan launched her first-ever clothing line to benefit her patronage Smart Works.
The Duchess launched her collection in complete secrecy despite some of the items being available to buy online hours ahead of the official debut. Meghan teamed up with four brands to launch the Smart Set, a five-piece capsule collection that will enhance the wardrobe of any professional. There's an elegant blazer and trousers from Jigsaw, a crisp white button-up from Misha Nonoo, a flattering set of dresses from Marks & Spencer, and carry-your-life-in-it tote from John Lewis & Partners.
