12 Pieces For An 'Anything But Ordinary' AW Wardrobe

The new collection takes inspiration from the anything but ordinary trusted quality of M&S.

Sustainable sourcing, renewed energy, and stand-out styles are all key to M&S's collection this autumn-winter.

M&S has long been a store you can rely on for the building blocks of your wardrobe, pieces that can easily be layered up and mixed and matched. Whether it's a classic shirt, cashmere cardi, or chunky Chelsea boots, the highstreet stalwart always delivers on everyday style staples that excel both in terms of quality and price.

For this autumn-winter though, M&S has focused on reshaping its offering to be 'anything but ordinary'. After enduring the greyest of winters last year, there's a renewed energy and optimism to the season's drop which has begun to land on physical shelves and digital screens to great feedback.

With everything one might need for a seasonal style update, hero categories such as knitwear, denim, footwear, and coats are full of catwalk-inspired colour, joyful prints, and comfy-cool layering pieces that reflect how customers are living, working and shopping in 2021.

Look good, do good

With customer consciousness to protect the planet at an all-time high, M&S has doubled down on its sustainability credentials too, with all cotton used across the ranges acquired from sustainable sources, while the eco-friendliness of denim has been stepped up with lower impact sprays being used to create a faded effect this season.

Online shopping has been made more conscious too, with M&S’s online warehouse powered by 100 per cent renewable energy. In addition, more information about a product's sustainable credentials has been included under 'details & care' on the website.

Fashion layouts, both online and in-store, have also been thoughtfully designed to encourage circularity, showcase just how the most stylish pieces can be dressed up or down for versatile outfits.
