The virtual high street just woke up
With more and more fashion brands placing a stronger focus on making not only ethical but sustainable choices with their designs, sustainable fashion is continuing to prove that it is anything but a fleeting trend.
Before, shopping ethically was very much reserved for those with a higher budget as sustainable fabrics were not available on the high street. However, one brand championing the new woke era of sustainability and making ethical shopping accessible is Zalando. The online shopping platform has recently added a sustainable shopping experience to their website making which brings sustainable brands - within all price points - to its customers.

Items marked with a Sustainable Fashion label have a reduced impact on the environment and/or improve social conditions along the supply chain. Zalando carefully chooses items certified with the recognised industry standards such as GOTS and Fairtrade to ensure that your and their requirements for sustainability are met.
We recently caught up Melissa Weston, the marketing lead for the UK and Ireland at Zalando to discuss all things sustainability and to find out her top picks from Zalando's sustainable edit.
