From Olivia Jade filing papers for her own beauty brand to Ariana Grande planning a Thank U, Next inspired beauty line to just yesterday, Rihanna filing for Fenty Skin, the past few weeks have proved that the United States Patent and Trademark Office is a goldmine for the best beauty industry news.
Now, it's been revealed - yet again thanks to the USPTO - that a trademark request for 'Bieber Beauty' has just been filed. Now, before you panic - no, Justin Bieber is not planning on bringing his sleazecore tendencies to a face near you. Instead, it's his wife - Hailey Bieber who is in the process of trademarking "Bieber Beauty".
The paperwork, which was filed by Bieber's company Rhodedeodate Corp. on April 10 states that Bieber Beauty is expected to sell "beauty and cosmetic products". Vague.
Hailey has been extremely open about her skin care in the past which has led fans to believe that Bieber Beauty will be skin care led. That said, the model is a brand ambassador for BareMinerals which could mean that she may branch out into a non-competitive market, like fragrance - a market her husband could give some advice on.
Whatever it may be, if there's not at least one reference - whether it be in the promo or products - to the rushing synthesizers that is the 2012 hit 'Beauty And A Beat', we will be eternally disappointed.
