3 Easy Ways You Can Help Local Irish Businesses

We're doing our best to help local food businesses.

Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.

We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.

BuJo home meal kit

Grainne O'Keefe, culinary director at BuJo and head chef at Clanbrassil House, has announced a new burger meal kit to satisfy your BuJo cravings. Containing 12 grass-fed beef patties, eight BuJo brioche buns, BuJo burger sauce, 12 slices of cheddar cheese and two dill pickles, this kit gives you everything you need to replicate BJo's classic burger in the comfort of your own home thanks to explicit cooking instructions from Grainne herself. Currently, the kits can be delivered to Dublin 2 and 4, but the team are trying to expand this as quickly as possible. Click here for more info and to order.

The Cupcake Bloke

The Cupcake Bloke has announced that he will be offering home delivery around the country just in time for Easter. Delivery costs €8.12 regardless of how much you order or where in the country you are and your package will be posted out to you on Wednesday, April 8th, but orders must be submitted by this Sunday, April 5th. A limited menu is on offer, but it includes some of The Cupcake Bloke's bestsellers like tea brack, brownies and more. Head to @thecupcakebloke on Instagram for more info.

Gourmet Food Parlour

The team at Gourmet Food Parlour is supplying freezable and reheatable meals for collection and delivery, including family favourites such as shepherd’s pie and spaghetti bolognese. The meals are available for collection at the GFP Catering Kitchen in Santry in north Dublin, or local delivery is available. Dishes cost €40 for five meals or €70 for ten meals.
