Numbers have been rising this week, with officials saying a Dublin-wide lockdown could be the order of the day.

Osteria Lucio

Osteria Lucio on Grand Canal Quay have made lots of their menu available for collection and delivery (through Deliveroo), plus there’s a range of cocktails to go with your pizza or pasta. Their cocktail list is one of the more extensive we’ve seen and includes a strawberry French 75, passion fruit mojito, and a limoncello Collins. See their website for info.

L.Mulligan Grocer

The Stoneybatter bar and grocer is doing a range of delivery options at the moment, including beer cans, cocktail kits and cheese boards. They have been experimenting with growlers too, so expect to see draught beer added to the options. Delivery is currently restricted to Dublin 7. More details here.

Now that virtual cocktail hours are the only way we can can 'go' for drinks with our friends, we've become more creative with what we're drinking. We love the creative grow your own cocktail kit that reuzi, a minimal waste store in Foxroxk, Dublin, has recently launched. 57 The Headline's delivery service has a huge range of wine, spirits, beers and more available to order for €5 nationwide delivery. Wigwam on Middle Abbey Street is doing takeaway food, now with added alcohol thanks to their cocktails to collect. Dark and Stormys and Cuba Libres are available, plus everyone's favourite tipple - the Espresso Martinis. We feel seen. Visit their website for more information.

Renowned in Dublin for its margaritas, 777 has thankfully made them available for collection along with the '777 At Home' food box. The margaritas are pre-batched in 750ml bottles (around five margaritas) and are priced at €40.

Celtic Whiskey Shop and Great Irish Beverages 

Celtic Whiskey Shop has teamed up with Great Irish Beverages to present a unique at-home cocktail experience called Cocktail Tour. Each week, Celtic Whiskey Shop will send customers a package including mixing equipment, alcohol and ingredients to make two cocktails with Oisín Davis of Great Irish Beverages demonstrating how to make the drinks via Zoom. HARBOUR BAR

The Harbour Bar in Bray is now delivering its signature toasties alongside a range of wines, fries and local beers including Wicklow Wolf, O'Brother and Larkins. The beer your order will be delivered in a 1litre growler which requires a €3 deposit.

Used growlers can be returned to delivery drivers on your next order when your €3 will be returned. Delivery is available from Wednesday to Sunday from 4 pm-10 pm in Bray, Greystones, Shankhill, Loughlinstown and Ballybrack. Click here for more info. 

ANTI SOCIAL 

Anti Social, which opened just weeks before the pandemic, has pivoted to offer cocktail delivery in Dublin. Initially, the team were only delivering their 500ml and 1litre bottles of cocktails to residents in a small section of Dublin city, but now, delivery is available in all areas of County Dublin. Customers within a 2km radius of the bar can order their cocktails for collection.

The range of cocktails currently available includes margaritas, pornstar martinis, sex on the beach, Moscow mules, cosmopolitans and much more, with a promise to add more weekly. Anti Social also recently released a merchandise line with 100 per cent of profits going towards the Dublin Simon Community. For more info, click here.

Ireland’s first alcohol-free bar, The Virgin Mary has just launched an alcohol-free home delivery box, which features some of the bar’s most popular drinks and is available as part of its online shop.

The box is €49 and includes the likes of Torres Natureo Muscat wine, Heineken 0.0, London Essence Original Indian Tonics, and Ceder’s Crisp Alt-Gin. All online orders over €25 currently include a voucher for two glasses of sparkling wine in the bar when it reopens. RASCALS brewing company

Rascals Brewery in Inchicore is open Thursday-Sunday every week and serving up a great no-contact beer collection service. But don't fret if it's not within your 2km radius, you can also order beer for delivery on the Rascals' website - beer will be delivered nationwide within 3-5 working days or you can collect from the Inchicore brewery.

frank's

Camden Street Wine Bar Frank’s has launched a pick-up and delivery service, with a selection of cases including Frank's favourites (six bottles, €125), a mixed case of six organic or biodynamic including red, white and orange (€140), a seasonal case (€105) containing six spring worthy wines, and the cosy reds selection, yours to enjoy this bank holiday weekend for €130.

This Dublin-based speakeasy is now offering collection and delivery of its fantastic cocktails. The wide range of available cocktails, which includes margaritas, sazerac, negronis and more exotic varieties, are priced from €9.

BAR 1661 Cocktails at Home

Bar1661which recently celebrated its first birthday, has just launched a range of pre-batched cocktail for collection and delivery. The independent bar was  voted Ireland’s best cocktail bar by industry peers just six months after opening so you’re in safe hands.

The menu includes Belfast Coffee, a cold-brewed poitín version of the classic and the 1661 Old Fashioned made with Jameson Black Barrel, Aqua Vitae, Irish aromatic bitters, and Imperial Stout Syrup. The Globe Bar off-licence 

The Globe Bar on South Great George's Street is obviously closed for service, but it has pivoted to become a craft beer off licence. The Globe has a massive range of craft beer available for takeaway, as well as Dingle Gin slushies and pints, in case you're missing a classic glass of the black stuff.
