Perhaps best known for fragrances and beautiful candles, French brand Diptyque is in fact home to a wide array of home accessories and objet d’art.
And its current Decoration collection is an absolute beauty.
It’s full of interesting shapes, bold colours, textures and materials and there’s everything from notebooks and paperweights to vases and incredible candle accessories. The piece are like works of art (some with price tags to match) and we’d quite like to own all of it, thank you.
Wax vase, from €80
Simple yet so beautiful the vase designed by Jean-Marc Gady studio is inspired by the shape of Médici period vases. It seems hard to believe but it's actually made of white wax and has been created to hold water (a useful thing in a vase). Available in two sizes.
Torsade candle holder, €380
The ribbed glass candle holder, far right, was also designed for Diptyque by the Jean-Marc Gady studio. Handcrafted in a Vendée workshop of master glassmakers, it is made up of two parts and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Candle holders, from €1,500
These incredible candleholders were created for Diptyque by bronze artist Osanna Visconti. Available in black and gold, the limited edition pieces were handcrafted in an Italian art foundry using the lost wax casting technique.
Sketchbooks/notepads, from €25
The sketchbooks and notepads are made with paper sourced in Nepal, Japan and Italy and boast chic details and handcrafted binding. The recycled Murano glass paperweights (from €35) are made by Laguna B using centuries-old techniques such as hand-blowing to create the gem-like pieces. They're perfect for brightening up a home office desk.
