It's gluten-free and royally approved...
If you scroll through Instagram right now you’ll see three things: screenshots of people’s Zoom quizzes, maps of 5k runs around the park, and photos of banana bread. Thousands and thousands of photos of banana breads.
Even Meghan Markle has her own take on the classic baked treat.
The Duchess of Sussex whipped up a delicious loaf of banana bread during her royal tour in Australia in October 2018 when she was pregnant with Archie. During a visit to a family-run farm in Dubbo, it was reported that Meghan brought homemade banana bread to the family as a gift. And as well as having bananas in it, it also featured two secret ingredients.
We mean, they’re not that secret as we’re about to tell you about them, but, ya know…suspense.
Aside from adding in chocolate chips (which are always an excellent choice), Meghan also included some ginger in her recipe.
Prior to her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan shared a recipe to her 'Life Changing Banana Bread' on her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she closed down weeks before news of their engagement in November 2017.
According to the Duchess, she acquired her gluten and grain-free recipe from her friend Talia Brown. Check out the recipe below:
