While Covid restrictions have kept the doors of nail salon, MINK Dublin closed, director Kate Verling has kept busy.
At the end of 2020, she launched The Modern Rose collection, a range of elegant bath and body products designed to recreate the salon experience at home.
The range was two years in the making and the team worked with industry experts including Lucy Hegarty of Cork’s La Bougie candle and fragrance makers and Peigin Crowley who spearheaded the renowned La Mer Spa at Adare manor and recently launched her own wellbeing range, Ground.
The collection centres on Bulgarian rose oil, with hints of cassis and honey and the wider range features the likes of a cuticle oil, hand and body wash and body lotion.
Tapping into the growing interesting in home fragrances, as we make our living spaces as comforting and comfortable as possible these days, there is also a neat lifestyle range comprising a candle, diffuser and mist.
Speaking about the lifestyle collection, Kate said, "This has been what I can only describe as a passion project, a coming together of Irish talent and creatives to deliver something the team and I are so incredibly proud of. We have even introduced sustainable and refillable glass vessels, in the effort to continuously try and make this a range you enjoy again and again.”
