Whether seeking to capture the rugged ancient landscapes of Ireland or exotic lands beyond the seven seas, leading mobile phone company Huawei have been partnering with professional camera manufacturer Leica to create smartphones that produce photography that is nothing short of stunning.

Huawei have been showing off their latest phones by partnering with photo enthusiasts across Ireland, showcasing the P20, P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro’s abilities to remarkable effect. These ground-breaking smartphones contain Leica’s triple lens camera systems which allows the devices to zoom up to 5x without losing pixilation: a world first in photography.

The phones, including Huawei’s latest flagship device, the Mate 20 Pro have market-leading AI technology which allows the cameras to recognise the scene being shot; whether that’s food, landscape, a concert or a group of people and naturally adjust its settings in order to capture the perfect photo. All of this technology is powered by a huge battery life that lasts over a day of heavy usage making Huawei devices the ideal travel companion and camera for anyone on the go!

Speaking about the impact of Huawei’slatest flagship device, the Mate 20 Pro, experienced photographer Ciaran Cassidy said, “It is an absolute game changer when it comes to photography and specs. The triple lens Leica camera is remarkable and allows me to capture photos that would not usually be possible with a smartphone. The device is incredible to use and I don’t need to worry about the battery running out either which is really important when I am out from dawn till dusk taking photos.”

Speaking on his time so far using the Huawei P20 Pro, winner of this year’s Huawei Creative’s Photography Competition, Peter Maguire explained how he has been “blown away by the triple camera setup.” He continued, “They say the best camera is the one you have with you, and that certainly rings true for the P20 Pro. I’m always confident that I’ll get crisp, detailed shots whenever I use it and it means that I don’t have to worry whenever I need to leave my mirrorless camera at home.”
