Even though we're all still practising social distancing and most of us are working from home, we still want to help support Irish food and drink producers.
We've decided to help our readers #ShopForIreland so we'll be posting every day to highlight producers around Ireland. Get in touch on our social channels with your suggestions on who we should write about.
While the eat-in sections of Saba restaurants around Dublin are closed, Saba Baggot Street is now providing a takeaway service, with precautions in place to ensure the safety of staff and customers. Saba To Go in Rathmines, Windy Arbour and Deansgrange are also open and delivering, as well as offering collection.
The three takeaway locations plus Saba on Baggot Street are also selling three freezer-friendly Thai curries for €8.95 – chicken massaman, yellow vegetable and green chicken – that can be kept frozen for three months so you can keep your favourite curry on-hand at all times.

F.X. Buckley Victualler & Grocer
While all F.X. Buckley restaurants and bars have shut up shop to protect their staff and customers, the newly-opened F.X. Buckley Victualler & Grocer on Pembroke Street is still open for business with shelves full of great Irish produce like Sean Ring organic chickens, Berna's Dressings, The Foods of Athenry products and more.
The store has also announced a new home delivery service for the southside of Dublin, offering four different value packs of meat. While they all sound good, we have our eye on the dry-aged box, which includes four 16oz T-bone steaks, four 8oz fillet steaks and four 10oz ribeye steaks for just €110.

Much-loved Sligo café Pudding Row has also been forced to close its doors, but the team quickly went to work perfecting an online ordering system. So far, Pudding Row is offering a Friday collection system, where customers order by 6pm on Thursday and then their goods will be available on Friday, with a full safety and social distancing system in place for protection.
As well as the café's famous cakes and breads (we need to get our hands on their bagels ASAP), some products like NutShed peanut butter and Achill Ireland sea salt are available to order too. The system is card payment and collection only at the minute, but if you live locally, delivery can be arranged in case you're stuck at home. There's also talk of the weekly collection moving to twice weekly if all goes well, so we'll keep our fingers crossed. Click here to order.
