The Sustainability Podcast Changing the Game

Women on a mission.

Help is at hand.

Eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable fashion is finally on the industry's agenda – and for many brands and designers, this has been a year of awakening. But, as Katie and Clodagh of the Climate Queens podcast argue, we all have our part to play in making fashion truly circular.

While the world is finally waking up to the importance of sustainability, the lexicon surrounding eco-friendly and ethical practices is fraught with inaccuracies.

Hoping to provide a little more transparency within a daunting area are two fresh-faced women on a mission to get Ireland talking.

In their own words, Climate Queens is "a podcast series aiming to raise awareness about the effect that we, as humans, are having on our shared planet and what we can do about it.

"Climate change is a vast subject and can be very overwhelming, through sincere chats and numerous cups of tea, we plan to break down the facts and provide easy, everyday solutions for listeners."

Considering that a recent report issued by the United Nations’ scientific panel on climate change has informed us that "a world of worsening food shortages and wildfires, and a mass die-off of coral reefs,” could become our reality as soon as 2040, an informative podcast of this nature could not come at a better time.

Katie and Clodagh release a new episode on the last Friday of every month, where they will be covering everything from simplistic guides to global warming, fast fashion, the minefield that is recycling and everything in between.

Episode one and two are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and many more.
