Find love in a hopeless place.
On Thursday, Tinder announced that it would be introducing Festival Mode for all the lovelorn folks who plan on attending summer music festivals.
The new feature works by a user adding a Festival Mode badge to their profile and searching for like-badged others.
"From there, you can check out everyone else going to that festival, so you can match and chat before you make your flower crown," so says those at Tinder HQ.
The dating app is also incentivising users to employ Festival Mode by teasing the possibility of "access to exclusive VIP upgrades, swag, and more."
The feature is being rolled out this month and will be available three weeks before each festival to provide ample time for flirty chit chat.
Unfortunately, it's only being rolled out for festivals in the US and the UK for the time being, including All Points East, British Summer Time, Lovebox and Parklife. The US festivals include major events like Bonnaroo, Governor's Ball and EDC.
You can read the full list of festivals involved here.
However, we expect that Festival Mode will be making its Irish debut before long.
