With Meghan and Harry paying a royal visit to our fair isle we thought we'd take a look back at all the times Meghan Markle has knocked our socks off with her elegant and classic style since becoming a royal.

The Off Duty Look

Meghan has off-duty chic down to a fine art with this cream and black striped Altuzurra dress. A Camilla and Marc black blazer slung over her petite frame is complimented by black and white striped Oroton bag. Meghan finishes off her smart casual look with some Tamara Mellon Paramour heels – swoon.

The Little Navy Dress

Meghan stuns in navy Dior at a recent engagement. The silhouette is that of a much fuller skirt, a style we haven't seen the Duchess wear very often, but nevertheless Meghan makes the dress look as classic as ever. Paired with a Stephen Jones fascinator, the Duchess is picture perfect.

The Amal Clooney Dress

Straying away from her usual neutral palette of creams and more earthy tones, Meghan chose a statement yellow Brandon Maxwell dress. The colour - similar to the style Amal Clooney wore to Markle's wedding in May – compliments her complexion in just the right way. Pairing the bright dress with nude pumps and hair slicked back into a low-set bun meant the Duchess was making a fashion statement without being too try-hard.

The Blushing Beauty

For Meghan's first official hosting duties alongside the Queen, the Duchess stepped out in a blush suede Prada ensemble that can only be described as sartorial heaven. Accessorised with a simple black clutch and sling back heels, this look is utter elegance.

The Monochrome Moment

Harry and Meghan made their first appearance at Royal Ascot as a married couple recently, and Meghan did not disappoint on the fashion front. Donning the classic colours of Royal Ascot in a white and black Givenchy shirt dress, paired with a fascinator from our very own Philip Treacy and simple black clutch.

The Neutral Nod

Returning to her much loved neutral palette, Meghan looks immaculate in a peach off the shoulder Carolina Herrera dress with modern buttons. Finished with matching hat and a beautiful blow-out, it's not only Meghan's style we are obsessed with but her hair and makeup is also an obsession. Both of which shine in this look, as the Duchess shows off her post-honeymoon glow.

The Party Gown

As if any of us can forget that Stella McCartney dress that was Meghan's second dress for what was the wedding of the year. The couple looked the epitome of old Hollywood glamour with her now-husband looking James Bond-esque in a classic tuxedo. Meghan finished the look with white Aquazurra pumps and Princess Diana's aquamarine diamond ring. The perfect accessory for the perfect day.

The Dress of the Century?

And, finally, the dress we will all remember Meghan for is her wedding dress, designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. A simple yet classic style with a boat neckline, which seems to be a favourite of the Duchess, it was accompanied by a sixteen foot train that was hand embroidered with each flower of the Commonwealth (that's fifty-two flowers for those wondering). The wedding look was accessorised with nothing less than a set of Cartier earrings and bracelet, plus Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara borrowed from the Queen's private collection. The look was finished with Aquazurra pumps, which if you look very closely have a baby blue sole, something blue for the Duchess on her special day.
