Here's Every Celebrity You Can Expect To See At This Year's Met Gala

T-Minus 25 days...

This year, the Met Gala is ready to serve more over-the-top fashion than ever before.

The first Monday in May draws global media attention as New York plays host to the most prestigious fashion event of the year. Chaired since 1995, Anna Wintour will throw her 24th Met Gala.

Theatrics will play a leading role not only on the red carpet but in the Metropolitan Museum of Art as this year as the gala will exhibit on hyperbolic fashion dubbed "Camp: Notes on Fashion". In keeping with high drama, only Hollywood's most elite stars will attend - and judging by the Met Gala host committee (which was revealed earlier today) it appears that the sub-theme of this year's event is power couples.

Among the celebrities chosen by Wintour for the host committee are Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas (who first hit it off at the 2017 Met Gala), Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha and Hollywood's leading power couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

As far as other celebrities go, Bradley Cooper, Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, Jared Leto and Katy Perry all make up the host committee which totals 183 people.

Co-chairing the event, alongside Wintour is an equally star-studded group; Serena Williams, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles and Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele. Speaking to The Hollywood Reported, Vogue editor-in-chief explained that co-chairs and committee do not reflect the full Met Gala list.

"Obviously it helps that well-known names draw attention to not only the gala but also to the exhibition and to the museum; for all the starriness of the names on that one night, we never lose sight of the fact that the aim of the gala is to raise funds for the Costume Institute, so we can support its place in the cultural life of New York City and beyond."

While the Met Gala 2019 will take place on May 6, the exhibit "Camp: Notes on Fashion," curated by Andrew Bolton will open on May 9. Check out the full committee list below:
