The 29-year-old has been arrested.

Singer Chris Brown has been arrested by French police in Paris on suspicion of rape, Associated Press has confirmed. 

The arrests were first reported by French magazine Closer, which said that three men had been detained after a 24-year-old woman alleged she was raped at Brown's hotel suite on the night of 15 January.

Brown had recently taken to Instagram to announce that he was rehearsing in Paris.
