Maybe we will apply after all.
If we've learned anything from the past five seasons of Love Island, it's that the show doesn't guarantee you love but it does guarantee fame and fortune. While they may only earn about £250 a week in the Villa, Islanders who enjoy a significant stint on the show tend to make ten times that in the following months and up to a year after the show, with some of the more successful contestants lapping up earnings far beyond that. And that's not to mention the grand prize of £50,000.
Following last year's hugely successful series, each and every islander that made it through to the final came out of the villa with over 1 million Instagram followers. Unsurprisingly, the brand deals and press opportunities quickly followed.
